summer roaches crawling around the yard
you've been so careful not to misstep
but how could you forget
you were never in charge
isn't it strange when you mind is awake but you still can't move your arms or legs

I saw the marble canyon etched into a blue horizon
clouds float right above the cliffs like sailors come to dock their ships
and i could feel the scenery as if it were inside of my body
reaching deep into my vision
a timelessness that breaks divisions
between a world that we created
and the one beneath thats always existed
we live in a manufactured harmony
will we let it manufacture you and me?
